Here you can watch the official videos of the Eurofests since 2006.
Eurofest 2009 in Patince/Slovakia:
Patince is a spa city and vacation resort in Southern Slovakia, close to the river Danube and to Hungary. The "Wellness Hotel" was the center of activities. Opening Ceremony and the Evening Events were held open air. Two conference rooms were used as the stages for the long-term problems, offering short ways for the audience. The hot springs attached to the hotel were used for recreation. Also great fun - the trip to the nearby city of Komarno. Germany International was represented by teams from Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium Falkensee, Humboldt-Gymnasium Potsdam and John F. Kennedy School Berlin.
Eurofest 2008 in Kecskemét/Hungary:
About 100,000 people are living in the city of Kecskemét. In April 2008, about 600 people were added - the participants of the Eurofest 2008. For the third time, it took place in Hungary, and the organizers again gave proof of their hospitality. The stages were a bit far away from each other, but the theater hall provided a great atmosphere for the presentations in problems #3 and #5. The participants could learn more about the country and its culture on a trip to Budapest and to an open-air museum. The teams from Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium Falkensee and John F. Kennedy School Berlin came back home with a lot of new experiences.
Eurofest 2007 in Störitzland/Germany:
The Eurofest was hosted for the sixth time in Germany in 2007. Since its premiere in 1993 in Potsdam, it has grown a lot. The festival 2007 was the largest until then, with 700 participants and 67 teams from 15 countries. The Störitzland camp close to Berlin almost bursted at its seams. All rooms and extra beds were filled, but nobody had to sleep on the floor. A big top was built up only for the festival and was used as the home for all events and one of two stages. For the first time, teams from Africa participated in the Eurofest, representing a school from Cameroon. Another highlight was the trip to Berlin, with a boat tour on the river Spree and an IMAX 3D-movie sponsored by CineStar at Potsdamer Platz.
